Lamiglas Bass Rods
In 2007, Skeet Reese landed the big one; the Bassmasters Elite Series "Angler of the Year" award. As the top professional on tour, Skeet Reese has a firm grasp on what it takes to win, and what it takes to build rods that rise to the occasion. For over 10 years, Reese has been intimately involved with designing his own Lamiglas series, as well as countless other rods in our line-up. With a tactically precise blend of sensitivity, strength and feather-light feel, Lamiglas produces dozens of models expressly designed for your style of fishing. Whether it's a long, precise pitch of a 1/4th ounce jig along a dock, flippin' through heavy cover, launching a crankbait into the next zip code or feeling every contour of the bottom with a worm rig Lamiglas has a rod to match. If it's versatility you're after then Lamiglas is your choice too. If you're looking for one rod that does it all well, Lamiglas builds over a dozen that are incredibly nimble and completely capable of throwing just about everything you own. We know you're serious about your bass fishing...so, if you've got a point to make -- drive it home with Lamiglas.
VPR (Visual Power Rating)
Lamiglas developed the VPR system to help you quickly identify specific rods for specific techniques. Each rod in the series is designed with a distinct power and action that lends itself to a particular purpose and fishing style. While every angler has his or her own personal preference, the VPR we've identified on each rod represents a consensus gathered from the most experienced guides, professionals, and bass junkies who fish our product.

POWER. HOW MUCH DO YOU NEED?
Applicable to our salmon, steelhead and bass rods, “power” is defined by the
amount of pressure required to flex the blank. These blanks are designed to
optimally manage a specific range of lure and line weights. The heavier the line
and lure, the more power you’ll need to cast, fight and pull effectively. The
lighter the line and lure, the less power you’ll need.
